The Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and SME Development (MITSMED) has established programmes implemented by the Namibia Development Cooperation, one such programme is the Site and Premises Programme.

The programme is aimed at developing the SME sector efficiently and effectively by means of setting appropriate Policy and Programmes, availing land for development of businesses, creating an enabling infrastructure for lease at affordable rental rates, setting a best practice model for SMEs to grow and to flourish with key outputs such as job creation and growing the economy
